A couple of other notes:

Sites 21 and 25 are both announcing a neighbor Site 22, with control channel 851.150 MHz. I'm not picking anything up on that frequency.

I also believe that SFFD training talkgroups 36101-36116 (site 25, phase 1) have been replaced by the even-numbered talkgroups 926-956 (site 21, phase 2). Most fire training has been occurring on TG 932, and I haven't heard anything on the 361xx talkgroups for some time. I think there are 16 training talkgroups interleaved between the A1-A16 talkgroups.

Site 26 is the airport, but yeah it looks like you logged Site 22 with control channel 852.2625 on 10/25.

I also note, there is a possible site 22 that is ISOLATED.

2021/10/25 14:23:37 Freq=773.681250 NAC=2B0 BEE00.2BB-1.25 neighbor: Site BEE00.2BB-1.22; CC=0-201 852.26250 ISOLATED

Thank you! I wasn't in a position to look at my notes when I wrote that. Site 22...I'll have to go get more data!

Running Unitrunker, site 22 has the following control channels:
851.1500
851.4250
852.2625
852.8375

No voice activity detected yet. The control channel is also much weaker than the other 3 sites from my location in San Leandro.

I can't pick it up from Marin, so it must be to the south. Maybe Bayview Park, San Bruno Mountain, or County Jail #3?

My understanding was that the initial dispatch call was not going to be encrypted, allowing the media and the public some access. However the middle of the call was going to be encrypted to protect the privacy of those IDs being run from the field back to dispatch. Maybe this coincides with a post here that the HTs will be encrypted . Then the conclusion of the call was going to be unencrypted. There is an article online about it. Sounds complicated. I have asked some cops how the transition is going, think they are adjusting to digital tonal quality

Thanks for this. I was running off 851.400 for the longest time but was dead recently until I used 851.425 control. I am getting a lot of traffic, not sure what has changed.

Considering the frequency was probably 851.425 the whole time, that was the biggest error. ;)

So they unpatched from the old Analog this morning and it should just be all Digital now. Any activity on the PD side either encrypted or unencrypted?

I've caught a very small number of very short transmissions from the SFPD G/H/I Portables TG in the past hour or so, a radio check on that same channel around 1300, and a radio check on C/D Portables TG around 1500 (on the analog CERS system, still only seeing encrypted traffic from PD on P25)....... this doesn't make sense though, right?? Maybe they hit some kind of unexpected snag? Having promised the public access to dispatches etc on unencrypted channels, I can't imagine they would just suddenly wake up one rainy Monday morning and intentionally reverse that decision....
