I have a Radio Shack Pro-95 and some of the buttons stick. Radio Shack doesn't do repairs and I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to what I might be able to do short of buying a new scanner. Thank you.

First, try a can of compressed air and spray around each button. This may dislodge anything that might be hiding.
Next, a can of tuner cleaner around each button. You may want to remove batteries for this also.
The following are 2 products I use for this purpose;

RadioShack® TV Tuner Cleaner - RadioShack.com

CRC® QD Contact Cleaner (03130) - Funnels, Pans & Syphons - Ace Hardware

The problem with taking the batteries out is that I might lose the memory that's been stored. What do you recommend in that case?

Removing the batteries in case any cleaner got inside, but
I would read your manual for your pro-95. I might be wrong, but I think it had a "non-volatile memory" meaning batteries could be removed without dumping the eprom in it. So your memory should stay intact.

Are you having the same issues that I am? If so, what did you do to solve it? If you want you can PM me and we can discuss it that way.

IF you have sticky keys then clean them with the products I listed the links to.
It's very simple, anyone can do it.
