While scanning a P25 system with 14 channels, it never stops for transmissions on any channel except the first one. If I hold the scan on any of the other channels, I can hear the transmissions. What setting am I missing?

Are you scanning from the full database or have created a Favorites List and scanning that?

If it's the full database, I'd be checking on whether the correct Service Types are enabled and my location is set correctly.

If its a Favorites List, it could be lots of things, including the above.

You may wish to do a search for "x36 Nothing to Scan". That may give you some more ideas.

To add to the above, if you're scanning from a Favorites list that you created, did you enter the system as a conventional system, with all the channels? Or did you create it as a trunked system, with all the channels loaded in the site.

Also, if it's a trunked system you created, then did you enter all the talkgroup ID's of interest? If not, do you have it set on ID Search, not ID Scan?

I am scanning from a favorites list. It is in as a P25 Trunk system type, the frequencies are listed in a site, the department type has the channels with the talkgroup IDs programmed, the service type is "Fire Dispatch" for the first channel and "Multi-Tac" for the rest (that the scan doesn't stop for), and it says ID scanning when running.
