Got an SD crd error, and followed instructions. No luck. Just bought a new sd card, and HP shows USB mass storage. However, if I get into Sentinal to restore data, window in sentinal DOES NOT recognize card?????

In Sentinel, click on the HomePatrol drop-down menu at the top of the window.
Click on "Clear User Data" (the bottom item)
In the poop-up window for drives, check the "Display All" check box. The new card should now show (without a name other than a drive letter) as long as you are still in Mass Storage Mode.

Let Sentinel 'Clear User Data' on the card. If the card still did not show when clicking 'Display All', then your new card may need to be formatted first. Use SDF Formatter.

Once the card has been formatted (if required), and 'Clear User Data' has been accomplished, then use use the "Write to HomePatrol' command, either from the HomePatrol drop-down menu, or the icon directly under the
letter P (HomePatrol) on the second line on the top menu. That will write the rest of the data needed to make the card ready to use by your scanner.

If you have not already done so, go ahead and update the main database before doing this, to get the latest version in both Sentinel and the HP-1.
