I'm at a loss.. I've tried multiple options and I cannot get the scanner plugin to work. I wish they would just post the whole thing on the site with all plugins already there where they are supposed to be. All the other dll files that were originally there function properly. But I cannot get the scanner dll to do anything.

What SDR# version do you use? If you use the 1921 or 1922 version you must run the dotnet8.exe. I run the 1922 x64 beta and the scanner plugin works with dotnet8.exe but not dotnet9.

I'm running 1921 32bit. but I'm on a 64bit machine. I'm going to dl the 64bit version and see if that will work. Where do you have your scanner dll files? Did you edit the config file and install it there, leave it in the same folder as everything else?

I did what you suggested and with a bit of fiddling, got it working. Thanks for the help! I was so frustrated. But I knew I had to step away from it for a bit and ask someone for some advice.. I appreciate your help. What you said I hadn't seen mentioned anywhere. I was able to drop all the plugins into the plugins folder and they worked. Some required others to be disabled before they would work, but that may be something the developer fixes later. Nothing that will cause me any issues I don't think.. Again Thank You!

I run those on older versions. Over time as sdr started changing, plug ins stopped working. Some users have taken over on some but not all.

Read the notes on the download page about 64 bit.
I did see that, but since I'm on a 64bit machine, just wanted to see if it would work. I may see if I can get other versions to run on my laptop. I'm just happy I got it to work.

At least the audioEQ, Audiorecorder, Listeninfo, s-meter, magic eye, mode presets works on the 1922 x64 beta dotnet9. Freqmanager and scanner works ony with dotnet8. That is what I use and can verify and what I need.

I made the mistake of clicking the dot9 version (I've since removed that) and now my scanner is gone. I get the following error message. I've tried removing the dll files and reinstalling them with no luck. Any advice? Plugin Error.png

Delete the SDRSharp.PluginsCom.dll in the scanner plugin folder. Or rename it from .dll to .old Then the scanner will work with dotnet8
(I use the dotnet8 for VHF/UHF and dotnet9 for HF. You still get a pluginerror log with dotnet9 for the freqmanager but it works shifting back and forth.)

Where should the scanner_entries xml file go?
