I’m trying to install and make work SDR SHARP on a laptop with a new install of windows 10, all updates are done and the laptop is to be entirely for playing with SDR.
I’ve downloaded the main SDR Sharp software from there main page (the top programme) unzipped the file and put it on the desktop, I have installed the correct software on the dongle but that’s it, the main programme for Airspy.exc is not on the list of files, so cannot run it.
Any help would be thanked

There is no Airspy.exe.

If you downloaded SdrSharp 1921, and unzipped it, and it looks like this, you click the appropriate SDRSharp.dotnet (8 or 9).exe.

If after that you have issues with the dongle, close out and run install-rtlsdr.bat.

Yep I’ve tried both, you get the airspy logo in the middle of The screen for 3 seconds then it disappeared

So yes i have all those files above, but whats confusing is that the install-rtlsdr.bat file is showing as just install-rtlsdr (no .bat) i've double clicked on it and the command screen opens and then i shut it ZADIG is available so i can sort my dongle out. when i double click on the dot 8 or dot 8 the airspy logo appears in the middle of the screen for 3 seconds then disappears.

You must check file extensions to see file extensions:

New windows install , you most likely need to install dotnet desktop runtimes (x86 for sdrsharp)

Possibly you'll also need Vcredist

It didn't make you install Visual C or Desktop Runtime? Which SDR? Did the setup and the Zadig install run all the way through?
