I'm very new to the world of SDR, and I am using a nooelec sesdr smart, but the problem I'm having is that every time I start the channel, it will play perfectly for about 30 seconds, and then it will stop and the only channel in the now playing will be the control. The only way to fix it is by stopping and starting the playback. And when it stops working, I can still see the transmissions in the events tap. I have looked everywhere for a solution and simply can't find anyone talking about this. any input would be much appreciated.
SDRTrunk only shows control after a bit.

I believe thats how it works freqs show up when in use for a p25 phase2
In your second image there is the 'MAX TRAFFIC EXCEEDED' message. Denny just resolved this issue in the nightly releases of sdrtrunk. I am not sure if there is a new beta out with the fixes. I did put message in Google group to see if fix was implemented in the v0.6.1 download or if it was just the nightly. What version are you running of sdrtrunk?

Just got a reply back in the Google group that the nightly was just done with the fix and a v.0.6.2 version will be out soon
