Yea, still not seeing it - can you screenshot what you are referring to as the main program window? I've looked at the wen interface for Dashboard and Live views, and the legacy style program that opens showing the tuners.

why do the calls linger well after it's ended?
Are you referring to the call queue?
At first, I wasn't getting any audio via the web interface although audio was being recorded. Then I remembered that I had imported the existing SDRTrunk config from Denny's version which I had configured to use Rdio-scanner as the recordings manager / playback device. Once I opened a Rdio-scanner window /tab, all is good.
I thought this was my issue but I verified I had previously removed all rdio-scanner related settings prior to importing the playlist over to this fork so nope, still no audio, back to the drawing board

I'm not seeing an option for the spectrum analyzer in the latest nightly - was that feature removed, or is it a setting that I am not seeing?
Look for spectrum drop down in top right corner on main program window
It's apparently been removed from the latest nightly unless I'm blind

I'm not that bright.... Two questions:

Can I import my playlists, etc form the nightly to Alpha 10? If so, how?

How do I sign in? I dont recall setting a username or password.

Nightlies are very bleeding edge, so being able to move between them, especially between alphas and nightlies is not explicitly supported or tested. That said, i'll be adding a legacy XML export feature, so this can be more seamless in the future

Yea, I moved from a nightly to Alpha 10 and it was not a smooth transition - don't expect to keep any of your configs. But, it's an Alpha, so....

All I did was to copy the "Data" folder from the older installation to the new one, and everything worked. A new installation initially doesn't have a data folder.

I'll try that; it appears that when upgrading it used the original SDRT data from Denny's version instead of the data set from the Nightly.

Wow, I love this. Great work, seems some people cant understand what a nightly release is. Thank you so much for your work.

Naw, it should be an option to select whatever dataset you want. Perhaps that can be included in future releases. I think I initially selected the migrate option thinking it would access a previously used vce nightly dataset, but that wasn't working. Anyway, its a moot point as all is good now.

The latest nightly includes several changes aimed at making initial setup easier and improving the web scanner:

  • New P25, DMR, NXDN, and NBFM channels are automatically assigned a default Alias List.
  • Unknown talkgroups are included in the Default scan list automatically. This means a newly configured trunked system can play calls before you’ve created Aliases for every talkgroup. This effectively matches sdrtrunk's old java behavior.
  • New talkgroup Aliases also inherit the Alias List’s default scan-list, recording, and streaming choices. Existing Aliases aren’t changed.
  • Alias List Defaults can be changed from either the web interface or Playlist > Aliases > Alias List Defaults in the desktop application.
  • The desktop Alias editor now lets you choose scan-list membership for each Alias.
  • 1787683905894.png
  • Pressing Play in the web interface automatically uses the Default scan list when you haven’t selected another one.
  • A new Scanner page provides simple playback controls, a waveform, voice-quality information, Recent Calls, Hold, Avoid, Replay, Skip, and queue controls.
  • 1787683985339.png
  • Scanner has four display levels, Simple, Normal, Advanced, and Engineer, so you can choose how much call information you want to see.
  • The web interface has been reorganized and is much easier to use on phones and smaller screens. Mobile support is mostly untested and still a work in progress, so feedback is welcome.
  • Stopped systems on the Live page now have an X so you can dismiss them temporarily
  • The Live Messages and Events tabs now have filters, making it easier to show only the information you’re interested in. These tabs begin collecting information when you open them rather than loading older messages.
  • New P25 channels automatically learn control-channel changes. Existing channel settings aren’t changed.
  • P25 systems imported from RadioReference now make a better automatic choice between C4FM and LSM/CQPSK, including better detection of simulcast sites using the site name as a hint.
  • P25 control-channel handling has been improved. The receiver waits through brief signal interruptions instead of immediately moving away, checks alternate frequencies more quickly when needed, and remembers the last working control channel for the next startup.
  • Dashboard>Activity view shows pie chart of activity types (e.g. call, emergency, denial, etc)
  • 1787684140216.png
  • Activity records are now committed in much larger batches. Under normal traffic, this reduces database transaction frequency by roughly 99%, while retaining the same activity data. The only impact this has is on the Site>Activity tab. New events no longer stream in, but instead refresh at a 10 second interval.
  • DMR Capacity Plus REST-channel handling received a major update. The goal is to follow REST-channel changes more reliably without interrupting active calls or putting extra work on the decoder. It has been created to "reference specification", but is untested on real world systems.
  • AM was re-added, but has not been tested yet.
  • A possible channel start/stop lockup was fixed.
  • The desktop window is now centered correctly the first time the application opens.
  • Mac versions are no longer built with the .app extension due to issues with p-core/e-core scheduling and performance.
One note for existing nightly users: the new factory Alias Lists are created for clean databases. A database carried forward from an older development nightly may not receive them automatically.

Download the latest build from the nightly release page.

Coming in future nightlies:
  1. Fixing call stat counting where call stats could be duplicated if a user is monitoring multiple trunked sites
  2. easy "point and click on waterfall">listen>RR Import workflows.
    1. Automatic Alias creation for P25 systems using WACN+SysID
    2. Automatic C4FM/CQPSK Determination
  3. Fully managed call recording database, search and playback
  4. Optimizing speed of SIMD vector determination process
  5. Migration of radioreference, recording, streaming provider management, tuner management from Java interfaces to Web.

A10- I'm noticing that I cannot set the minimum or Maximum frequencies in the Tuner tab of the application window even after disabling the tuner, nor can I set the center frequency or (any frequency). The Gain Controls seem to work.

On the web view page there is a History link but it does not function.

Wow, you have outdone yourself on the new nightly. I CAN HEAR! Great with the scanner, really cuts down on CPU. I like all the dropdown tabs for easier navigation on the top of the web interface.

Question regarding the "encryption" tab on the Live Systems tab, is the type of encryption the correct type and is it accurate on every call? I could swear our PD is AES256 but it actually shows ADP.

Can't for the life of me get the latest nightly to acquire a control signal on a strong CC. Alpha 10 picks it up loud & clear. SDRPlay RSPDuo

Alpha 10 (no issue)

Latest nightly keeps cycling CCs. Settings are identical

Do other sites work?
Could it be a C4FM/LSM selection issue?
Also take a look at the waterfall on the web to see if those control channels are even showing.
