While scanning a P25 trunked system and while monitoring has stopped on a channel or while holding on a channel, is it possible to avoid the department containing that channel, without using the Menu functions?

You need to press the middle soft key to highlight said department then quickly press Avoid key once for temporary avoid or twice for permanent avoid. If you aren't quick enough it'll just hold onto the department
For channel avoids, same applies as above with the only change being the third soft key (channel). You need not be quick with channel avoids as you can still avoid a channel while held onto it
