Definitely call Uniden Support (800-297-1023). I bought mine the first week they were released. Saw so many “got my email” and “got my battery” posts, but nothing for me. I finally contacted support and spoke with a guy named Reid who not only checked into the problem, but got my battery shipped within a week, and I received it without any further delay. Superb customer service IMHO!

Did you enter the ESN and checksum number when you registered it? Apparently it's required but it's in some obscure place on their web site. Mine came with the large battery so I haven't had the problem.

There are other threads dealing with this problem.

Some people have not received their battery yet because they did not enter their scanner's ESN/Checksum or did not confirm their shipping address. See this post and the four posts following it to find out how to display the ESN (Electronic Serial Number) and 3-digit checksum numbers on the scanner.

Where do you find the ESN number ? I found the s/n with the checksum number. It still will not allow me to enter the full S/N number with the checksum number. Thank You for all your help

Thanks for the tip on the ESN. I was not aware of that detail. I had registered my SDS100 by serial number, but had not entered the full ESN. I did that over the weekend, and support responded to my email this morning, stating that the full ESN is, indeed, required, and that I'm all set now. I don't recall the original instructions specifying that the full ESN had to be entered - the paper slip in the box doesn't say anything about it.
