Good Evening all,

Sorry if this has been asked i looked for it but i cant find it.

If I decide to record a Couple of Channels on my Favorite lists they get saved to my SD Card Correct? Secondly is the SDS 100 able to set the records on the go?

Thanks

Recording is either on or off. Any transmissions you hear while it's on will be recorded on the SD card as mp3 files. The scanner will record whether fixed or mobile.

FYI,
They are saved as wav files.
You must press....
[Function] + Replay + E/Yes
this will start recording wherever your on the go.
anything/everything that's recorded must go to the SD card. There simply is no other place to save them too.

Hit replay. Plays back audio but never saves it anywhere.
It's a special dedicated folder on the SD card for the replay buffer where the recordings are stored. When one recordings timestamp are older than the replay duration time you have selected it will be deleted from that folder. It constantly saves and deletes files in that folder when you have the replay feature enabled.

I copied the files to a computer to play them back, but every single transmission was its own file. Is there a way to make it combine a bunch together so that there are less files?

Nope, You need an APP that can handle a playlist (more than one file at a time, sorta like a scanlist)

Wouldn't know about the HP II (don't have one).
You do realize you can play the files back using the radio (which would display all the original details that were saved..

Menu:
Settings:
Replay Options:
Review Recordings:
Choose a folder...

Ex:
Windows media player will allow you drag all the files in a folder to the players playlist (at least in win7, haven't bit on the upgrade yet.) There are lots of other options, some have been discussed in the forum..
