On my SDS200, when I monitor a P25 system, and DATA shows on the display, I assume that indicates the radio is receiving the control channel. Is this accurate? If so, should the actual frequency also be displayed? Maybe it’s the way the display is set up, but the only time I see the frequency displayed is when there’s actual traffic.

You would be correct and you can change the screen settings to display the freq of the CC in one of the lines if you choose. Depending on if you are using simple trunking display or not, that would be the display you’d want to customize in the settings.

It doesn't have to be in Detail Display to see the frequency, as long as you set up the field in Simple Display, it can be seen there too.

Is it just me? Or, when using Sentinel to customize the display, do the colors not correspond very well with what appears on the radio?

Disregard. I didn't realize that when you hold on an item with the soft keys the colors reverse.
