SDS series feature request

As long as it does not loose power while writing to the card. We have seen this for almost 5 years before you joined.

Recording to the SD Card is only asking for trouble it shortens the life of the SD Card.
SD Cards only have a limited number of read write cycles.

Is that not the point of an SD card? If an SD card is not read and written to, then what is its job. There are cheapo SD cards that have a much lower read/write life, and there are higher quality SD cards that have a much higher life span. Buy a good one to start with (not that much of a higher cost) and read/write all you want.

Most people do not know that SD CARDS FAIL or WHY it was just a post for knowledge unless you think keeping people in the dark is a good idea. Also the memory in the older scanners will fail also they just are not update weekly.

speaking of SD cards...how about a better mechanism to get the SD in and out of the scanner?
