SDS150: SDS150 keypad not locking

When I pressed F then power, my SDS150 displays “Keypad Lock On” and the key icon appears. However the keypad still retains 100% of its functionality and I can’t change the volume unless I press the knob first.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

UPDATE: The problem is gone after I powered off my scanner.

I’m still curious if anyone else has had this issue.

No issues on my 150. Assuming your firmware is up to date?

UPDATE: The problem is gone after I powered off my scanner.

When the keypad lock is on, you do not need to press the knob to change the volume. The keypad lock is removed when you turn off the scanner. Most of the buttons are locked on my scanner except for the Channel Hold soft key.

I understand that. Part of my issue was that after I pressed F then Power, I still needed to press the volume knob in order to adjust the volume.
