I own two SDS200s; one was purchased just after release, the second some time after that. The first did have the hum, and I installed the noise mitigation part that Uniden sent. It reduced the volume of the hum, but did not eliminate it. However, the audio cut-off delay setting basically eliminated the hum AFTER the transmission stopped (you could hear the hum in the background of active transmissions). The second SDS200 came with the part factory installed, and performed like the first radio after it had the mitigation part installed. Late last year, I performed the display grounding mod on both units, and the hum is gone.
Note: gotta love the Uniden haters: Whistler still hasn't produced a P25 radio that can decode simulcast satisfactorily in most use case scenarios, yet they cannot resist the strange urge to bash the only scanner manufacturer who has successfully done so.
