I recently tried to check for updates using the sentinel software and it will not connect. Has anyone else had a problem with this? I did have a update on my computer but I also have not used the software for the scanner in a while. I have a BCD536HP connected to a laptop running Windows 10. I have a screen shot of what is says when I try to update.

Uniden's update servers have been reported as down for several hours now today.
Somewhere here there is mention of this in another thread in one of the Uniden forum's.

Same here... their site they use to update is uniden.info. Server is unresponsive right now.

If you recently made changes on your PC, and then downloaded & installed Sentinel, the database will be well out of date. The current Sentinel version, for the SDS and x36HP series scanners is 2.02 Rev 01. You won't be able to download the latest database until Uniden's server is back up. Nor will you be able to use Sentinel for firmware upgrades.

Sentinel saves the last firmware upgrade on your PC, so, with the correct file, you can do a manual firmware update if someone has the file on their PC. I have the last updates for the SDS200, Main V1.10.00, and Sub V1.02.01, on my laptop.

Servers are back up. I was able to download the update.

Working fine today too. Monday update was just posted and got it.

My version is saying 1/29/2012. When I go to update it says I have the most current version. This is for my HP1. Any ideas? Have tried clearing user data, not sure what else to do.

What version of the HP Sentinel program are you using.... from the top menu bar click "help", then "about".

You should be using Ver 2.03.02.

Sorry that was the HP Version, the Sentinal is V 1.01

Check that again.... there is no such version for HP Sentinel.

From the top menu bar in the Sentinel program running on your computer... click on help, then click on about.
