Yes - same Sentinel and size.

The Sentinel program used for the HP-1 was updated and now supports both the Home Patrol-1 & Home Patrol-2.

If you have both, as I do, you may want to flag any Favorites lists that include P-25 Phase II systems; those systems can only be monitored on the HP-1. However, all other Favorites lists (those without P25 Phase II systems) can be used on either scanner, interchangeably.

Clarify what you're asking about the 'scanner mount'. The two models are the same size, so a windshield or vent mount kit for the HP-1 would also work for the HP-2, if that's what you mean. The USB cable is the same as well.
