yes, when the .o25 is keyed up from dispatch, it also travel thru 3 repeaters. one on english, one in gatlinburg, and bluff mtn. even though i'm still learning the system, to scsd will multicast, other depts online can do the same also but only in an emergency situation.
by the way lee looks like we are not going to get to meet. just toooooo much going on. will you be back in area soon? if so try me again at this site or email direct to cwe909@yahoo.com. thanks and GOD BLESS!

This system is getting me slightly upset in trying to figure it out. Please excuse me while i quote
previous entries made by me.

(edited out from previous post....)

Also it just might be possible that freq 460.1125 is LCN02, not
100% on that though.
Just an update...

confirmed: LCN 01 is 460.1125
0-01-170 heard (unknown)

About a month ago I was sent by e-mail the id of 0-02-227 by somebody, can't remember who, stating
the id was the Sheriff department
Now I never gave it much thought until today when I thought the system was mapped out.
My thought was this could not be a valid ID, I even sent an update to the database admins
telling them this.
Well now this happens this morning, I SEE the id 0-02-227 appear on my screen and my
BC 780xlt is trying to go to the channel 2 spot. I watched this several times over a period
of an hour, it is now 1:15pm. So this isn't a random noise generated id.
ALSO, I am seeing the Sheriff department talkgroup being keyed-up normally on LCN 11
with no audio, just a key-up. I watch as the id keys up on LCN 11 then transfers to one of
the other channels, like it should when it needs to find a clear channel.
(I am thinking the radio service is programming a radio and trying it out on the system)
If this is the case, then we have an LCN 2 on this system and it might be 460.1125
like I stated on 6-15-07.
BUT when I confirmed LCN 1 as 460.1125, I DID hear people talking and seen the ID
0-01-170. I had 460.1125 programmed in channels 1-10, 12-13, 15-20 at that
time frame. (LCN 13, 15, 19 were not confirmed at that time). My radio actually jumped
to that channel 3 or 4 times and that made me think it was LCN 1.
So maybe you see my dilemma, I am confused now.
Is it possible that 0-02-227 is the radio service ID they are using when they program radios?
Do I have 460.1125 confirmed incorrectly?
Please forgive me if I do, but any insight into this would greatly be appreciated.

During a flurry of activity that included the Rescue Squad, Fire department, and sheriff
I saw 453.6125 routed to LCN 16 three different times as comms became jammed.

I am not going to add this to the database until someone else confirms this.

The last time I stayed in Pigeon Forge (about 2 1/2 years ago), I caught a roll call of all the volunteer fire units on evening. I was able to pick up several PL / DPL tones that I didn't have.

Do the volunteers still do this? If so, it would be a great time to pick up any volunteer fire departments using the new system.

Has anyone else heard Sevierville Fire Dept on 0-19-200 and Northview Fire Dept on
0-13-113 in the past week? I am using Radio Shack PRO-433 and I have not seen
0-11-200 or 0-11-113 in the past week. Is it my radio or has something changed in the
system.

Central DISPATCH does a test page of ALL fire departments paging systems every Wednesday evening starting around 6pm.
One unit acknowledges the test page from each department.
