Hi guys,
Today I seen id's
0-15-121 Rescue Squad
0-16-124
show up on the scanner, thats ok but that means there is an LCN 16 which we
don't have figured out yet.
Just though I would drop this note....

If everyone is in agreement I believe that the talkgroups for Northview Kodak VFD and Sevierville Fire Department should be changed to 0-13-113 and 0-19-200 respectfully. Does anyone believe different or has mastered what freqs are in what LCN's for the 3 different sites?

Thanks,

Arnold

You know, if each agency is going to get its own 'home' channel, what was the point of the trunk?
Each agency already had its own frequency...
Padding the wallet, huh Mr. Jenkins.

In listening to fire response from the Sevierville Volunteer Fire Department yesterday afternoon, I saw both 0-014-124 and 0-16-124 for the same traffic. One was monitoring the Sevierville site and the other was the Newport site. Could one of the LCN's in the Newport or Sevierville sites be wrong? Is it possible that the Sevierville site atop Greentop Mountain and the Newport site atop English Mountain are on different channels?

They have 2 ID's, just like you seen. They were in 'Wide Area' mode, when you saw the 2 ID's for the same traffic, which basically transmits on both repeaters.

I noticed today that the Gatlinburg site, 460.1125, still repeats the audio from the sheriff but it is not showing the LTR data. The Newport site is ok as well as the Sevierville site.
Just an observation.

I saw on a post for Knox Co. Rural Metro and their channel plan yesterday, which had a VHF channel for Seymour Fire. Will Seymour still keep VHF radios in their rigs to talk elsewhere?
