SFPD lo-band radio

It used to be - 8 or 10 years ago anyway - 131.8 for their 45 mHz frequencies.
I have seen the 131.8 PL tone on some lists, but it's never been formally confirmed. Lowbands are mostly used by the "4-King" traffic motorcycle officers now. If you catch any traffic and are able to confirm the tone, shoot us a submission so we can update the database.
I suspect Harry is right. The back-up lowbands in the patrol cars are the original Motorola MaxTrac radios that were used as the regular mobiles before the 800 MHz trunking system took over in the nineties. The radios on the SFPD motorcycles are newer - they look like Kenwood TK-690Hs (leaving the officer with no visible 800 MHz mobile on the motorcycle, only their portable). In any case, it would be nice to have a formal confirmation that nothing has changed in the last 20 years.
