2:10PM 3/4/09 Sherman Texas: Fire on scene working Structure Fire. 1417@StarLight [Star Aircraft Command] Denison, Pottsboro and GC-Airport fire responding M/A operating Sherman Fire-1 153.7700 186.2, Sherman TAC-2 Unknown. Commercial Structure fully involved with a Methane tank inside and Kerosene. FM1417 being Closed for a Red Line on the ground. This is at Star Aircraft in Sherman. Lima-81 is Commander four Sherman Station's out also.

UPDATE: 2:32 Sherman Fire is Out of City Resources. Texas Vital Care EMS to Fill-In Station-4 with Whitesboro Fire. Bells EMS Handling Sherman Calls. Pottsboro filling in at Station-3 Denison Filling in at Station-5 All Fill-In's now being requested to Run from Station-1

EMS Updates: Denison Medic's, LoneStar EMS-4, Bells EMS, Texas Vital Care EMS (Pottsboro) are running Fill-in's for the City of Sherman.

2:39 Red Cross Canteen now assigned to Star Aircraft Command for rehab.

2:39 Sherman 804 releases Station-4 (medic-4 Engine-84) to return to the city as Sherman fire is now in Overload mode.

2:49 Sherman 801 now en-route to incident.

Max,
Are you having any trouble receiving the new Denison FD repeater? I think they've gone to a lower power base when they reconfigured. I can't pick them up in McKinney anymore.

This fire is about five miles north of my house....................

Mike, yes. Its horrible. I used to hear the B/M operation Much better that new repeater is garbage! Its a Base repeater (Radio, Repeater all in one unit on the dispatch desk) the Antenna is the 40-50 ft. tower in DT. Denison. with everything else on it.
