Does the RF gain control allow you to reduce RF gain so that the noise floor is reduced on SSB signals? I understand this is a time-honored technique that the old-timers called "riding the gain."
I understand the ATS-909X2 also has a squelch control. Does it work on SSB signals so that a frequency could be monitoring silently until a signal strong enough to break the squelch comes through?
Finally, does the ATs-909X2 allow scanning of stored memory channels?
