having a problem w/ uniden software. I have airports in system settings but can't fig out how to add the freq in it. been on computers for a long time but this scanner stuff got me going crazy. if anyone could help i will be able to sleep tonight.

If you have a system called airports, just edit that system (double click on it), add a new group, then add your channels. Keep in mind the naming restrictions for the demo program in order to DL them to the scanner.

Well, it doesn't matter to you if you got the full version, but for your reference and that of anyone else who views this thread in the future...

The only limitations in the demo are:

* You MUST name your systems one of the four valid names:
LTR, Motorola, EDACS, or Conventional. You can only have ONE of EACH and the name must match the system type.

* Your scanner memory is erased before the upload.

That's it. Other than those, it is fully functional. It is not time limited so you can DL them demo whenever and use it as long as you wish.

Let me translate. You bought the full up version, so you no longer need to know what the differences are between it and the demo. But other people searching in the future may find your post, wanting to know the same thing.

Thank you. That's exactly what I was saying. I could have worded it better, I guess. 8) I wasn't trying to be 'smart' at all - I was just explaining why I was answering a question that was no longer relevant to your (TheGator) situation. Remember - others read these threads, too.
