R8600 Software ?

I did. I see it on the list but when i click on it it says "No Results". Again their website do not mention anything about running it on a Ipad. From their webiste:

It appears to be a Mac OS app not an Ipad OS app. Is it possible you downloaded it in a Mac and manage to install it on an Ipad ?

There’s an iPad version of the app, but it doesn’t have a few of the features of the Mac version (and is about half the cost). I’m not sure if it works for the 8600. Best to contact Marcus directly. He responds pretty fast.

Thanks, i sent him an email. When clicking on the contact link on the web page you can see info about the app being available for the iPad, i would like to apologize to you if i sounded rude claiming that it was not an iPad app.

I suspect that the app might not be available in Canada, i've seen that with other apps in the past.

Marcus got back to me and confirmed that the app is available in Canada. He also told me that i need at least iPadOS 15 which i did not. I updated my iPad this morning to 15.6 but i still have the same problem. I'm waiting for Marcus to get back to me.

I use the App Store app (that's redundant) to search and find the iPad version. Going via a browser only shows the Mac version.

Marcus send me the link and it worked. Apparently there was a similar problem on the Australia app store. He was also able to reproduce the problem on on the Canadian app store. it seems to be related about Marcus having to create an App ID for each store or something like that. It's installed now and connected to my 9700 and 7610. Even though the 8600 is not a supported radio the app does connect to it. Marcus was very nice and he responded fast to my e-mails, very nice gent.

He is, I’m very interested in how well it works with the 8600. There’s not one in my immediate future, but it’s on the list.

He told me that the 8600 will soon officially on the supported radio list. Very nice software, the guys at Win4Icom need to wake up and smell the coffee

I have that one too, works well with all my radios. I think at the moment the Ipad app as a bit more features. I use wfview mainly with my 9700 when operating from my backyard.

Does it work thru a LAN or it needs a USB cable ? i did not see info on this on their website. It also appears to be for receivers only.
