For those of you on the email lists or forums that I am cross posting this to, you have my apologies for having to see this message multiple times.
For the list owners/moderators, I apologize for the slightly off topic, yet on topic post.
I simply want to reach as many New Jersey scanner enthusiasts as possible.
I've been thinking that something is missing for the New Jersey scannist.
To try and rectify what I think is missing, I have created a new yahoo group that I hope you will join.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scan-nj/
This new group is not meant to take the place of the existing groups or forums, but to expand on them.
I would like see us have the following.
1. A dedicated web site.
2. Regular face to face meetings.
3. Frequency downloads in multiple formats.
4. Training classes for the beginning scannist.
I'm sure that we can accomplish this and more. This is just what I have come up with this morning while having my coffee.
I already own the scan-nj.com domain, and have plenty of bandwidth to cover the downloads section.
Over the next week or so, I will purchase a new domain and remove everything not specifically related to New Jersey.
I'll need some membership support to make everything else happen.
Thank You, and I hope to see you on the new Scan-NJ list.
