I am looking for spotters, storm chaser etc that can come out to a safety event on October 22 from 10 to 4 in Scottsdale AZ. Please contact me at 480-246-1229 Thanks Tom.
I have been a spotter since 06 and over that time have taken 3 basic classes and this past spring, an advanced spotter class.......also a American Meteorological Society (AMS) and National Weather Association (NWA) Club Member for the Central Mississippi area.

I'm not a spotter, but I've been interested in meteorology since high school. Couldn't pass Calculus II though, back in 1960. FWIW IMHO the weather wind map link above is quite slow to load. Would ADDS - Winds/Temps be more helpful? It shows winds from surface to 48,000 feet; I find the highest flight levels really show off the jet stream steering winds.
I keep bookmarks on line to use on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Perhaps some these weather links at Weather may also be of interest.
