PASCO : Special Conductive Ink Pen - PK-9031B

Hey, that's great! I downloaded a pic of a 6-over-6 slot fed yagi, colored it in with that pen, stuck it onto the wall of my radio shack and received an AM 100kW broadcast band radio station 5 MILES AWAY on my Icom R8500! :)

Chamtech Spray On Antenna

All, I am quite familiar with this company and their antennas. I conduct new technology R&D for the government and have been a Ham for over 30 years with an Extra Class license. I was pretty skeptical at first. I've done some practical testing (receive only) and what do ya know, they work. Other government agency RF engineers were very skeptical, like most of you. So they recently conducted extensive anechoic chamber testing and were also surprised by the performance. I don't work for the company, but I can say that I've tried it, and it worked. Last time I met with them, they were using medical sticky electrode contact points (like for an EKG) for the connection point and then a snap on connector from there to the coax. In my opinion, this is the weak point that needs refinement. As for "painting" onto a car or other metal surfaces, you're supposed to use a rubber type of spray as an isolation layer. Once finished, the entire antenna can be completely painted over to hide it. As long as it's not a metallic type paint. There are specific templates used to achieve the antenna pattern. The end result is an antenna shape similar to what I have used with other flat concealable antennas. So... in my line of work I am always skeptical until proven otherwise. Then I become cautiously optimistic. I hope this helps a bit.

@Razvedchik

Please, tell us more! When did you first try this paint? What types of transmitters and what bands were tested? Do you know how much it costs? There is an order link on their site, but no price.
