Galleria Mall...err... 'Citi Plaza' in London recently switched to a UHF NXDN system. They are very happy with how it performs compared to the old Motorola Type II system they were on.

Guess any Mall managed by Oxford will switch over then.. probably they had a contract run out.. that sucks.. SQ1 was sometimes interesting to listen to.

At 251 pages and 7.4 MB it's a lengthy read, but worth it if you want to understand the system's capabilities (and limitations) and how it works. Of particular interest is section 2.7 "Voice and Data Privacy, starting on page 65.

Maybe everyone else already knows about this, but it's new to me!
