Looks like, as of this afternoon, most if not all of RED Center has moved over. Still hearing Plain Twp Fire (Sheriff's Office Dispatch) and Alliance Fire on old system. The talkgroups on the new simulcast beginning with Canton Police seem to be lining up alphabetically and not skipping any numbers.

45066 is a Police but can't identify yet. They had a traffic stop at Route 21 & Butterbridge. Any idea who patrols there?

I think 45168 may be either Brewster FD or for the SW corner of the county. I hear Brewster medics in route to somewhere but I didn't catch it all.

Speaking of RED, what about CenComm, are any of those agencies switching? I know you mentioned not too long ago that a few were staying where they currently are. I think it kinda defeats the purpose of mass communications and this system.

The original intent of PD & FD West, Center, and East were for mutual aid situations. On the old system, PD West did get used for routine traffic of some small departments. I would think on the new system, they would create talkgroups for each department and leave the mutual aid talkgroups for their intended purpose.

45169 should be SOUTH PD DISP. I'm thinking 45066 is WEST PD DISP.

I would think on the new system, they would create talkgroups for each department and leave the mutual aid talkgroups for their intended purpose.

RED Center is clearly dispatching on 45169 / 45066 (and 45168 South fire) though. So whether it was intended for mutual aid or not, they are dispatching on there. And it looks like they are going to have separate talkgroups for some agencies that aren't necessarily dispatch talkgroups.

To me it looks like SOUTH PD (which I suspect is 45169) and WEST PD (which I suspect is 45066) as well as SOUTH FIRE (45168) are all dispatches for multiple departments -- and that some of those departments will end up having talkgroups of their own for other-than-dispatch purposes.

Of course, there are then others that have their own dispatch talkgroups, like Massillon, Jackson Township, etc.

Brewster "7" police was just workinga speed stop and talking with dispatch (RED Center) on 45169. I've heard other south PDs (beach city, navarre, etc) on 45169 as well. So pretty sure its SOUTH PD. Hopefully someone else can listen and confirm suspicions.

Were Canal Fulton, North Lawrence dispatched on the old PD WEST ? If so, we can get 45066 added to the DB.

Well as far as I remember the Southern part of the county was on VHF (PD) and Canal Fulton/Lawrence PD had their own TG.

Ok. Well, when you guys figure things out let us know. Till then, a lot of these "suspected" talkgroups aren't going to be added to the DB because I can't be the one to confirm them . Stark Co people familiar with these talkgroups need to be the ones who confirm them.

Lawrence Twp is definitely on 45066. So Canal Fulton and Lawrence township have been heard by me on 45066. So maybe 45066 is not WEST PD but is CFPD / Lawrence Twp combo like the old system.

The only radio Ids I'm seeing on 45066 are Canal Fulton and North Lawrence radio iDs. So for now we should suspect 45066 to be the same as the old CFP DISP on the old system.

Mike, Brewster,Beach City and Navarre were dispatched by the RED Center on 155.745. Canal Fulton and Lawrence Twp were also dispatched by the RED center but had their own tgrp.

Just heard Erie Valley dispatched on 45168 so I am convinced that is South Fire which should include:

Erie Valley
Beach City
Brewster
Wilmot

45095 looks like it could be JTPD 2 or JTPD 3 from the old system. All radio IDs on 45095 appear to be ones also on 45093 (JTPD DISP)

49094 Jackson Twp PD 2
