I don't routinely listen to police traffic but I have put up a feed for those that do. I have included the following talkgroups which I believe is the extent of departments who are not running encryption on their main TG.

45025 Alliance

45066 Canal Fulton

45071 Countywide

45086 Hartville

45107 Magnolia

45117 Massillon

45123 Minerva

45133 North Canton

45142 Park Rangers

45143 Waynesburg

45160 Sheriff

45169 South Police

45173 Uniontown

51727 OSP Post 76

I have been listening to the feed and have a few questions for the community.

1. Is Magnolia PD using 45107? I have yet to hear them.
2. Do the park rangers use 45142? I have heard "November Romeo" units on the Sheriff TG 45160 but nothing on their own TG.
3. Does Waynesburg PD use 45163? I have yet to hear them.
4. Who uses South PD 45169? I have yet to hear any traffic.

Been a long time since I listened to / was able to monitor Stark simulcast directly. When it first came online, I and Docsmachine spent considerable time collecting the radio IDs and matching stuff up. Back then I believe I believe Waynesburg PD was using 45169 S PD DISP even though they had their own dispatch talkgroup. Definitely somebody was using S PD DISP back then. It was active every day.

Don't know what is up now. Maybe they went ENC and those who feed Stark Co Simulcast BCFY Calls feed do not even bother to attempt to capture it. Or maybe whomever provides the Stark CO Simulcast feed doesn't care about the S PDs. I can't imagine that once they were on MARCS they would have moved off.

Update:

1. They are few and far between, but Mag PD is being dispatched on 45107
2. November Romeo units are being dispatched on the main Sheriff TG 45160. 45142 may be only a car-to-car TG. If that is the case, I will have to delete it from the feed in order to stay in compliance with Broadcastify TOS.
3. Still have yet to hear Waynesburg PD on any TG
4. No traffic heard on South PD but I did hear Beach City units on main Sheriff TG 45160.

Are you feeding a BCFY Calls feed? Or are you providing the standard feed? If it's BCFY Calls, send everything, anything, encrypted, not encrypted, TAC, whatever. Because RR weeds it out on its end and RR prefers to receive every call that possibly can be sent from the system.

45234 was active today. Tone out / page / whatever to 25242 SR 172, which is East of Paris/New Franklin and west of New Alexander / Newgarden on 172. If I zoom in on the location on Google Map, it says its a Minerva address but the unincorporated place is Chambersburg.

Definitely in Sandy Creek JFD territory

45234 is Sandy Creek paging talkgroup

Makes sense. But I'm surrpised there was other chatter on it, with medic 1, engine ?20? and some other undecipherable stuff. I would have figured a paging talkgroup would strictly have paging on it, considering SCJFD already has a dispatch and Tac talkgroup.

And the same page was heard on MINFDDSP 45125 with better audio and a more full account.

The audio was much better on 45125 (provided by somebody else's feed) than on 45234 (provided by my Calls feed lol). I don't know if it bad feed performance of 45234 was rebroadcasting some of what was on 45125 at the time.

Can't shed any more light on it. I locked 45234 outa my scanner because I hear everything on 45125

45234 was fairly active today, again just repeating pretty much what is on 45125. Only one Radio ID - 7610120. So it's just a rebroadcast. Don't quite understand what the purpose is but oh well.

Are either of the Stark Co Simulcast Broadcastify Calls feed senders who use SDRTrunk willing to send me audio to my RDIO Scanner for Stark Co and only Stark Co (a specific alias list that only contains Stark Co talkgroups and nothing else) ? Yes I'm kind of picky. I'm looking for somebody who is monitoring the full Stark Co simulcast and who has their SDRTrunk set up with enough resources that they are capturing every call on the system, even when heavily loaded.

If you're reading this and willing to do so please PM me or shoot me an email at mtindor @ gmail. And of course if you are running RDIO scanner and are interested in Jefferson Co Simulcast or MARCS Dellroy I can send to you as well.

Walsh University PD active this morning on MARCS TG 45177. I don't usually hear them using MARCS. Sounds like some person of importance visiting the campus.

Heard Walsh PD Chief today say he was "taking our old MARCS radios back to North Canton PD who was gracious enough to let us use them for the past couple years." I am taking this to mean that Walsh PD has gotten their own MARCS radios and will be using them full time.
