My general observation on NCC Simul is there are no encrypted traffic users. The TRS freq's in the rotation have been slimmed down to 5 voice channels.

They have been on S-PMA for the last few days and it's been nice listening to them but the other two counties command channels have been back on their normal encrypted talkgroups so I know it's not going to last that much longer.

Hello,

Attached is UniTrunker data collected since August 2024. 315 TGs Affiliated to NCCo Zone. Some fascinating tidbits: 567 RID Denials from Montgomery Co MD. There are also RID Denials 1 each from Burlington Co NJ, St. Marys Co MD, and Wicomico Co MD. It would seem Delaware's System is popular.

Looks like Rehoboth Beach Police and Rehoboth Beach Fire are still on the SmartZone system. Rehoboth Beach EMS is using the new system.

EDIT: After examining the logs, it appears that some RBP users started using the P25 system this morning,

On my SDS 200, I noticed a lot of scanner stops on all the town police talkgroups this afternoon in Sussex County even the ones that were rarely used on the legacy system. It's safe to say they migrated to the new system. It seems all thats left that hasn't been tested on the new system yet is Dart Transit.

Still haven't heard anything from the National Guard on the new system either not that I heard them that much on the legacy system. I'm also curious to see when Wilmington shows up on the new system since I haven't heard anything from them on the one fire talk group in a few weeks.

I've officially stopped monitoring audio from the legacy SmartZone system at this point. I will still log tg usage until it goes dark.

For what it's worth, I was providing Calls nodes in all 3 counties (Kent/Sussex were spotty at times, that's my fault) but I've reimaged all nodes from being Ubuntu running Trunk Recorder to Windows instances running SDRTrunk. New Castle node is and has been up, I'll be swapping it's hardware out with an Airspy R2 w/ proper antenna as soon as that comes in, so quality of calls ingested should improve significantly. Kent is up, and I'm waiting on an RMA from NooElec for the Sussex site. Across the board though, I've stopped ingesting the SmartZone system and from what I can tell (aside from 1 other provider in Sussex) nobody else was hosting calls nodes, so we probably won't be seeing any more traffic out of that system on the internet.

Heard traffic on 1055 today leading me to believe it is either Killens Pond State Park ops channel or a countywide talkgroup for Kent Co area DNREC park ops. Units were discussing Dover PD making use of one of the pavillions and also mentioned checking boat ramp. Killens is the closest state park to Dover that has a boat ramp. I can't imagine Dover PD would have travelled too far from home for whatever they were doing. All RIDS were DNREC units.

It looks like at this time that DNREC and the DRBA are not. There are also some rogue radios on various police talkgroups that's are not as well. Keep the PMA talkgroups in play as well.
