Warren Grove range

does anyone know if your still allowed to enter the Warren Grove range to watch the planes, i used to go there all the time in the 90's they would let you up into the tower and they would call the pilots and have them do flybys for us.

There is a TFR for Sterling, VA tomorrow 0845 to 1345. Can't find any news about what might be happening. Certainly not golfing weather. Center point doesn't seem like it would be right if he's going to his club, though I haven't checked to see what it was for past TFRs. Anyone know if the coordinates are decimal, DMS or Deg Dec. Minute? None match the radial and distance from the AML VOR.

He's supposed to be heading to FL in the evening.

Sounds like POTUS might be behind schedule. Like only arriving recently. VSP had southbound exits from Rt7 blocked. US Park PD helo was flying around the mall area. VSP doing detail roll call on Fairfax3

USSS channels active.

I think the LZ might be at the Dulles Town Center.

Turns out the POTUS HLZ was just a mile down the road from where I grew up. And this place is only a couple miles from his club. Odd they didn't use that. I'm kind of surprised I could hear the comms while they were on the ground.

Last time I was in the tower was 2007. I've recently heard that yes they do still allow you up in the tower and also no they don't. They have a phone number you can call for info. It shouldn't be hard to find on-line.

2110- Lost them, but now on the way back to Andrews. 281.4

I suppose. I've never seen any reference for 235.65 being used by anybody.

292.3 has been associated with AWACS training. None were in the area as far as I could tell. No idea who was using it.

I live In North Jersey. Just wondering the locations of your monitoring posts so I can get an idea , based on altitude, the range of these comms. Usually, i can hear Mil Air Aircraft within about a 50 mile radius.
