AF-1 logged Europe 2045z.. Surprised it went eastbound from Quebec.
Figured would be west via Alaska...

Picking up chatter on 262.0250mhz. Callsigns being used sound like "Cajun"

At 0510 am local had a something? 97 Heavy with that Buff background
sound,level 280 then gone.
There is a Stratcom Power mission going on today of some type.
That TABOO 10 went down to La way overnight so assume they tanked a Buff.

Didn't hear it, but saw it. C-17 at 500' flying west-to-east crossing US50 just south of MD404. Probably the new low level training routes the USAF wanted to establish for Dover based C-17s / C-5s.

Rgr that was C-17 ROYAL-07 #06-6168 out of Dover at that time..

Also yesterday logged a new mode s (AE5D99) I think from down Pax River area last night 7PM local.
Seems to be a chopper at only 3-4k in altitude and for short time log no callsign.
Might be that new Sikorsky CH-53k that Pax River is testing out.

Also today around 10am local (AE5D9A) level at 3k feet logged for only 2 minutes here.
Course they both could be new Chinooks out of Boeing Philly but never see mode s on them before
and not logged by anyone else up this way.

You wouldn't by any chance have a track file for that C-17?

That would be good info for use pilots that fly on the Eastern Shore. A friend of mine regularly flies in an aerobatic box along MD 404 near Queen Anne, and expressed concern / horror over the (Monster West) training route.

Sorry no track for that one... Speaking of Dover just had RCH543 C-17 95-0105
105AW NY ANG arriving Dover on usual CP 349.400 with "First Ops".
Never heard that used in Dover, usually just "Dover Command Post"
Maybe a reserve 512thAW CP callsign now at Dover..

Plug in 235.65. That was being used the last time an RC-26 was in the area. Only found that right before it left.

1750- Just got a visual on the Italian KC-767 inbound to Andrews. Through my binos I could see two jets tagging along close by.
Seems to be a single flight IAM1430.
1757- to 128.35 IDs as a flight of three.
Jets to 1L, tanker breaking to 1R.

POTUS is in Columbia, SC right now. Looks like they're going to keep AF1 airborne while he does his thing on the ground because a line of storms will be coming through soon.
1943-Or not, finally landed.
