Rgr yeah slow going as article says 9 years of planning and will be 2 more years to
be operational with the new gear yet to be installed.. Tech advances move so fast by the time installed something new comes along

I've had my radio parked on ADW tower this morning not hearing anything until now with PACK91. There has been other activity I'm not hearing. That new radio must be a lot better.

1410 - Strong signal and mostly readable comms heard on 277.6 (I have that as the second VTANG freq) I could make out "COUGAR11 and MOJO8501 (whatever that means) and they kept talking about "Kingston". Any information on this please let me know.

Delivery flight of the first two aircraft to Luke AFB is scheduled for April 13.
First training flight from Luke is set for May 5.

Course if they are rally headed South I hear the Kinston Vortac request on ZDC from occasional fighters
like SJ-F-15's coming from offshore Va Beach area and airliners headed South towards North Carolina and beyond.

Just a wild guess but could they be talking about the town of Kingston, Ontario, just across the border ? At 15:22 GHOST 01 calling ZBW at FL220 request to transition from the Ft. Drum restricted area to GRIMM A. Also just heard ZBW working RAVEN 11, IDd as 2 A-10s off Wheeler Sack, VFR requesting flight following back to KMTN.

That's what I was thinking and you know what? I can pretty clearly hear commercial flights talking to ZBW (UCA09/ART08) right around that area too. So that's a strong possibility.

But he is showing 78-0640 or 80-0640 on mode s. Prob more accurate then the listed number.
They swap modes around a lot those A-10's.

Heard SCAN 04,05 out in W-386 South enter on 249.800 then 312.400 talking with 3rd flight and
seems on mode s working with a P-8A out there doing racetracks. Asked him Scans are going higher to FL250 will
that interfere with you? P-8A 169333 is up at 37k so no problem.
