Reported to have been on a show of force mission out of Dyess and diverted. I guess we missed that one ? Twitter
Did the VT F-35s leave for VIPER yet? Listening to BTV ATC on LiveATC and haven't heard anything yet. Won't be able to listen for much longer so let me know if you hear anything.
Edit at 19:40, KINGFISH31 flight just got IFR clearance to VIPER
Edit at 19:41, SCOTT11 although might have been STOUT11 got its IFR clearance

AirScan, started picking up comms on 314.4 and 226.8 at 20:07, have been so far increasing in strength of signal and length of transmission recieved since.
I don’t know who the other flight(s) are out there, I only heard the 2 I listed above.
At 20:24 I picked up a mic key up on 226.3.

20:55 - One of the flights of F-35s (no callsign(s) heard) is preparing to RTB to Burlington as heard on VIPER common (226.3)
20:58 - Just picked up comms on 234.8 "We're going to rejoin and then..." couldn't make out the rest.
20:59 - KINGFISH21 flight of 4, five minutes out from RTB heard on LiveATC ZBW (UCA09/ART08)
I swear they used KINGFISH31 in their IFR clearance at BTV, I'll keep listening.
21:05 - STOUT11 flight of 4 calling RTB to Burlington on LiveATC ZBW (UCA09/ART08), announced that VIPER airspace is cold.
21:09 - Missed KINGFISH21 flight's call to BTV approach but STOUT11 just contacted and is planning RWY 15.
21:11 - KINGFISH21 flight descending to 5,500, STOUT11 to 7,000. BTV LiveATC
21:15 - KINGFISH21 cleared ILS approach RWY 15, switching to BTV tower. Clear to land RWY 15
21:17 - Possible emergency with STOUT11, disregard emergency at 21:18
21:23 - All aircraft landed safely and have or are currently taxiing back to parking.

I just heard the 2 flights, STOUT and KINGFISH. For most of it it seemed STOUT was on 314.400 and KINGFISH was on 226.800. Then towards the end some split off for some "1V1" and I heard STOUT 3 and 4 told to go Aux 17. Then I was getting traffic briefly on 253.200 and 253.700, this was just prior to RTB. I think the guys that went Aux 17 went back to 314.400 for the RTB ?

I honestly couldn't hear that much talking, just a few words at a time, mostly static so I can't give you that much extensive information about that but I can tell you that they used 314.4, 226.3, 226.8, 234.8. I will program 253.2 and 253.7 for next time.

I missed the coms on 234.800. They seemed pretty high on that one, at one point calling in at the low FL300s. Busy on 314.400 and 226.800 and about 4/4 here. The coms on 253.2 and 253.700 were weak and brief. On the afternoon run I was also getting weak traffic on 349.700 so I'd add that one too.
