Good evening.
Hawgsmoke 2020 was cancelled, but apparently Hawgsmoke 2021 is held at Moody AFB from April 14-17, 2021.
It is hosted by the 74th Fighter Squadron, I don't know which units will be participating.
René.

Looks like MD ANG A-10's going down that way today.
1157 local RAVEN-1 flight of 4 climbing up looking for FL200
1205 RAVEN-01 req direct Richmond.
1227 SPORT-1 flight of 4 climbing up non-standard 7 miles in trail.
1232 SPORT-1 req direct Richmond at FL200 with 5 mile trail.

SPORT has always been a popular travelling long roadtrip callsign for the MD A-10's.

1005- 3 McConnell KC-135s off BGR. Looked like they were doing a rotation back from the Sandbox, but don't appear to be heading back to IAB ?

edit - just turned left, maybe they are going to IAB.

Anyone have McConnell 22 ARW 931 ARW A-A freqs ?

Tracked them on the home equipment, with A2A comms on 257.4

This is from the April 2021 supplement. Some things are obviously missing like Irons and Bay. Some of these are totally new or maybe just wrong (still) like Falls Church/Pinion UHF.
I suppose bold and light font for the same freqs mean they for high and low.

Air Route Traffic Control Center frequencies and their remoted transmitter sites are listed below for the coverage of this volume. Bold face type indicates high altitude frequencies, light face type indicates low altitude frequencies. To insure unrestricted IFR operations within the high altitude enroute sectors, the use of 720 channel communications equipment (25 kHz channel spacing) is required.

Interesting situation at BTV, if the F-35s haven’t launched yet, they are likely to be delayed significantly. A fire in the lighting control building at BTV caused at least the runway 15/33 lights to shut off, runway 15/33 is closed currently, according to BTV tower, they should be recieving an update in at least 15 mins.
20:14: HAMMER11 and BRASS21 flights have cancelled their IFR clearances for the night and for right now will not be flying tonight. Weather conditions for tomorrow, Thursday 4/15 and Friday 4/16 will likely prevent them from flying.

Interestingly, I'm hearing the ZDC controller on 307.025 (normal) as well as the VHF side being re-transmitted.

This is the first time I've heard of frequency cross-coupling between UHF-VHF. Listening to varous LiveATC feeds I've never noticed it before. I wonder if it's new or just not used very often ? Are you able to tell what sector 307.025 is being used in ?

The controller is working lots of airspace including Philly arrivals (132.525). The planes I hear are in the Pinion SWA4739 and Swann SWA4726 sectors.
N495DD while just west of KRIC.
