24 hour weather slip due to fog at 'heath so look out for a new ALTREV being NOTAMed.
Forecast for tomorrow is more fog but with the large number of F16s also routing back this week I think there will be more pressure for a waiver.
Things are a little more complex than usual for the tanker fleet because of the differring quarantine rules in different places. For instance, Mildenhall can't be used without advanced booking (so todays BLUEs from the South are going to Keflavik instead of dropping into Mildenhall)
I see BLUE 03,13,23 KC-10's dragging 18 Shaw F-16's West across the Med today..
Your right as traffic backing up to cross the Pond :)

Anyone know why I am able to hear the ZBW UCA09/ART08 controller on 237.55 from the Rome, NY area but not the aircraft, but I can hear the aircraft on 123.875 (UCA09) and 135.25 (ART08) but not the controller?

According to the RR Database 273.55 is paired with 124.125 and transmits from the Remsen NY site. Can you hear the controller on 124.125 ?

This is Sector 10 Rockdale which is being combined with UCA09/ART08 when traffic is light.

I made this up last night but forgot to send it. Location of the Remsen site in New York. Should hear VHF and UHF comms from the ATC controllers from the road

On the fighters and the drones - what is their operational altitude ? Presume the fighters go low for the range but would think the drones stay higher.to

From what I've heard the Drones are always working the block between FL190 to FL230. The fighters get cleared into Viper to work from the base to FL500. The base varies but I think it can go down to 6000 in some spots. They are usually higher because I can hear them most of the time, I lose them below around 10000, and the highest altitude I've heard them call out so far is in the mid FL300s.

Okay - was going to try to hear them next time they are active.

1343- Salty Dog 16 (F-18, VX-23) working w/ZOB Imperial (363.075) & ZOB Franklin (307.15) & unid ARTCC (253.85).

1400- EGY 1108 (Egyptian AF C-130 SU-BAF) inbound to BWI. Again showing screwy ADS-B altitude info. Taking unusual route to BWI. Normally they cross NJ somewhere in the Atlantic City area then head east to BWI, This is crossed NJ way up in northern end and is coming to BWI over Philly.

1405- SAM 223 (C-40 # 01-0040 AE0945) inbound to ADW. Departed from MacDill AFB FL.

1415- Pioneer 13 (P-8 # 167955 AE2230 VSX-1) off PAX heading southwest & working ZDC Patuxent (133.9)

The southern edge of Viper is about 200nm away from Wallingford (if that's where you are listening from), a bit of a stretch but doable if they are high enough. It will be interesting to see if you can hear anything ?
