1345- Hearing chat on 337.25--maybe Trend 71. At 1352 Flt lead declares " feet dry" as they cross the coast. sounds like four F-16s in this group. Chat about thunderstorms in their flt path & they will have to "pick their way" around them into Shaw. Trend 71 working ZDC Salisbury & ZDC Norfolk

Thank you, thought I had seen that. But it is not listed in the DOD Flight Information Publication General Planning section 5-1.
The difference is between the agencies in question. One document is from the FAA (and the section is basically for FAA ATC personnel) and is related to operational priority in handling the flight movement. The other document is from the DOD and does not get as specific in the details.

AirScan, VIPER goes active at 10:00L today as well as 15:30L and LIGHTNING 4 active at 16:00L. That likely means there will be a tanker involved that will orbit in LIGHTNING 4 this afternoon. I will not be able to monitor LiveATC or my scanner this evening because I have a game tonight.
