11:00- SLAM 01 on ZBW 377.100 RTB BAF. I was scanning but didn't find any A-A. 267.800 is busy with Drone traffic, COBRA 01.

edit 11:10- hearing very weak A-A on 259.000

After I posted my last message, I got some more comms on 260.9 and it sounded like Huntress talking to SLAM01 and I wasn't getting a reply from SLAM01. I don't know why, I believe last time I was able to hear both sides.

1408- Salty Dog 08 (F-18 VX 23) working ZDC Cape Charles then ZDC Casino. Sounds like another one of their area calibration flights. Advises ZDC Casino they will be done over their VOR in 30 secs and will head to Dover.

Heard 1st Helo Sqdn acft working on Ops freq id self as Mussel ##X. First time I've heard them using a letter suffix on their callsign.

Was it actually part of the callsign and not just a reporting point. Did they say anything else? I always hear them checking in with "MUSSELL##, Raptor" or "MUSSELL##, Loco". No other comms. I still haven't had them visible when hearing this so I can figure out the locations.


1527- MIG1/2/3 flight of T-38s heading back from WV. A>A 238.825
1535- To ZDC 285.55 over Columbia, VA. Does seem to be the Irons sector.
