I'm just curious. Some of my listening buddies west of us are saying they haven't much WBFM from the TACAMOS lately and they were speculating that they may have switched over to SATCOM.

Have any of you heard any WBFM lately?

Yes it has been a lot quieter on the WBFM freqs.

Interesting flights from KWRI this afternoon.

OPEC 76 (84-0190) and OPEC 77 (85-0028) to Henry E. Rohlsen airport, Virgin Islands (TSIX). Sounds like a nice R&R trip ....

The airport is named after Henry E. Rohlsen, a St. Croix native who was one of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II.

Rgr René a good weekend gig that TSIX but pilots got to watch their Rum drinks but I guess crew can
cut loose a bit.
See occasional Dover C-5M make this same trip from time to time. Unusual for KC-10's.

I was at Great Falls NP and heard something that wasn't commercial so I got my scanner turned on real quick. It was the DC guys on the way into ADW. I saw the three pairs of jets. One pair said to switch to an AUX, might've been AUX1 or AUX2 with the freq being 261.25. That one was new for me. Anyone else heard them using 261.25 before?
