Thats what I was guessing. Sounded like they came from the north. Plus I think that's one of their callsigns. Plus hearing A/A 259.9

SLAM-1 says we are two F-15's. A nice CAP change for once.
SLAM 1 is MA 85-0101 SLAM 2 is MA 84-0416
New Boom freq is 228.900. SLAM doesn't like static so may change freq after initial tanking.
SLAM says they were Alert flight that just got scrambled. Assume some NOBLE's later.
SLAM using their squad freq 259.900 as A/A.
SLAM-1 has HUD failure so SLAM 2 will have to be commit aircraft
Chopper on local 122.800 warning aircraft to contact Pot appch and land immediately
Finally got 143.825 A/A to work right on FM not AM
MARINE 1 comes up on KILG tower 126.000. A EAGLE-2 N22PP also on freq now going to Philly apch.
That PP Helo came all this way too.

Anyone catch which ZBW freqs they used on the way in? I first heard them on 282.3 (ZNY Kennedy) but I usually don't have ZBW freqs in my rotation.
Two TIS-B hits approaching Baltimore on ADSBx as N22PP leads the way to Delaware

1035- 143.825 (HMX-1 discrete) active so helos must be on way. Helos working in FM mode. At 1051 one helo advises he's QSY to Wilmington tower. One helo using Nighthawk 8 callsign.

I just put in a half dozen ZBW freqs covering the area just beyond NYC up to Danbury CT---just in case. Sometimes I can get a 150-200 mile range on UHF if they are high enough & conditions are good.

1200- BLUE 85-86 up on LiveATC YHZ.

I'm just curious. Some of my listening buddies west of us are saying they haven't much WBFM from the TACAMOS lately and they were speculating that they may have switched over to SATCOM.
Have any of you heard any WBFM lately?

Sure! Looks like the Boom freq for BLUE 86 is 268.300
