1625- VC-25 # 82-8000 inbound to ADW.

1627-Yeti-163 flt (unid type helos) working on DHS discrete (136.275). One saying they will make a pass by "that fine institution" (unid). One uses pilot's nickname Shadow. Talk about passing by VMI (Virginia Military Insttute). Now working Potomac (125.65) requesting routing to Nottingham VOR then on to the restricted area R6608 near Quantico.

1645- AF1 touching down at ADW (118.4)and Eagle 1 (Park Police helo) reporting to ADW tower they on station.

Not much mil for show this year.. Leapfrogs,Golden Knights and T-Birds and MV-22 demo.
Also park capacity limited to 50% outside? Oh yeah forgot its New York LOL Hence live TV coverage. zzzzz.
All in all would rather be in Latrobe though show there not much better except Blue Angels.

OC had better show in middle of pandemic in 2020

Really interesting reading materials from the Blue Angels "for the planning, support and follow-up of a Blue Angels flight demonstration".
Blue Angels Support Manual 2021
Yeah lots of details... Thanks.
Actually very cheap for the BA guys :)

a. CIVILIAN SITE DEMONSTRATION FEES: Per DoD Regulations, a check for $6,000 per air show day must be forwarded to the Events Office at least four weeks prior to the Team’s arrival day. The check must be payable to The Treasurer of the United States. We recommend forwarding your demonstration fees by registered mail. Blue Angel #7 cannot depart for your show site without receipt of your demonstration fees. Do not advertise practice days as show days. This is in the show’s interest primarily due to the Team’s practice and proficiency needs. Practices may be altered or cancelled depending on these requirements.
