This was posted on another list from a guy in Tennessee. I thought some of you might find it interesting.
I’m surprised no one has posted any information on the US bombing of the Iranian militia sites in Syria and Iraq on 06/28/2021. While going through the www.
ads-b.nl website I was able to gather quite a bit of interesting information, as US Forces were quite busy in the region. I’m sure this was a HUGE show of force to Iran, in case THEY thought of doing something stupid because of our actions.
60-0029 B-52H GRIMM11 AE5881, I have from Minot AFB, ND, was observed flying over the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/21.
60-0035 B-52H GRIMM12 AE5885, I have from Barksdale AFB, LA, was observed flying from near Iran to over the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/21.
60-0033 B-52H GRIMM72 AE5883, I have from Minot AFB, ND, was flying patterns off the coast of the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/21.
12-5772 AC-130J Ghostrider REACH1026 AE54D4, I have from Hurlburt Field, FL, took off from the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/21. This aircraft was in the area as early as 06/24/21 when it took off from Al Dhafra AB, UAE.
13-5789 AC-130J Ghostrider REACH1027 AE5964, I have from Hurlburt Field, FL, was flying patterns over the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/21. This aircraft was also in the area as early as 06/23/21 when it took off from Al Dhafra AB, UAE.
80-0137 E3-CF Sentry WSLR51 (Wrestler? Whistler?) AE11EA, I have as being from Tinker AFB, took off from Abu Dhabi, UAE and appeared to fly over western Iran to Syria, YES, over Iran! Was in area on 24th of June as well.
159887 EP-3E Aries II Orion MN806 AE1D94, I have as NAS Whidbey Island, flying patterns off the coast of the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/21.
11-9355 EA-11A BACN BLACKWOLF12 AE4DE1, I have as being forward deployed to the Middle East, flew from central Iraq down over Kuwait into the Gulf, then back up to central Iraq on 06/28/2021.
73-1586 EC-130H Compass Call NMBUS35 AE127F, I have as Davis Monthan AFB, AZ, wasoff the coast of Abu Dhabi, UAE for short flight on 06/28/2021.
16-5850 MC-30J Commando II AE5E01, I have as Cannon AFB, NM, was West off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, then over the UAE and then east to South of Gwadar IAP, Pakistan. Was in the area as early as 06/26/21 shown flying the same route.
09-5711 MC-130J Commando II AE4BE5, I have as Cannon AFB, NM, flew from Abu-Dhabi, UAE to Kuwait on 06/28/2021.
17-5876 MC-130J Commando II AE61F9, I have as Kirtland AFB, NM, was off the western coast of the United Arab Emirates on 06/28/2021.
168625 MV-22B Osprey SWIFT21 AE5DCC USMC from Saudi Arabia up over Kuwait, up Western Iraq to east of Qa’im, Iraq (near bombing site in Syria & Iraq).
And this is just the interesting planes that were showing!
There were an unprecedented amount of KC-135 tankers in the area on 06/28/21, as I’m sure all of these planes were thirsty. There were at least 20 KC-135’s that I counted: 58-0045, 58-0084, 58-0077, 58-0117, 59-1480, 59-1511, 60-0333, 60-0353, 60-0360, 61-0323, 62-3499, 62-3502, 62-3576, 62-3577, 63-7976, 63-8000, 63-8034, 63-8045, 63-8871, 64-14835 - PLUS there were multiple DC-10’s (unknown if they were the tanker type) and several KC-130J-30 refuelers were also in the area.
On June 29, 2021 two B-52’s were active in the area (that are shown):
60-0035 B-52 GRIMM12 AE5885, from Barksdale AFB, LA, flew from Dubai, UAE back over the UAE & then North toward Iran.
61-0006 B52 GRIMM21
AE589A (usually hex code AE589D?), from Barksdale AFB, LA flew from near Iran to over the UAE.
