Hi everyone, just as a quick intro, old milair monitor here, first scanner was a Bearcat 210 or 210xl(I had/have both) that I'm pretty sure I picked up at the VA Beach Hamfest back in the early 80s, first milair capable scanner, Pro-2004 new. Currently using a Pro-2052 and a BCT-15X.
Continuing the discussion, to Airscan, I agree that 292.300 isn't listed in FACSFACVACAPESINST 3120.1N(FACSFAC VACAPES Operations Manual / OPSMAN) , so I doubt it's monitored by Giant Killer, however it is listed in a 1 / 192 FW publication as a discreet freq,
W-386 G-J CMN 350.050 BLUE 292.300 RED 373.100.
I'm guessing y'all know that the T-38s of the 71st FTS serve as aggressor aircraft for the Raptor squadrons at Langley. adsbexchange.com gets pretty interesting in W-386 during most days as the T-38s turn on their transponders anywhere from the base to when they get out in the warning area, but the F-22s aren't visible. I think it was more fun in the late 80s and into the 90s when the F-15s from Langley fought/practiced with the F-14s and maybe FA-18s from Oceana in some of the warning areas off the coast. I could hear the F-15s, an AWACS controlling them, the navy fighters and the E-2c controlling them. Although I couldn't scan Have Quick well, I could get from a fraction of a second to maybe a couple of seconds of clear audio, and heard an AWACS one time that couldn't talk to its fighters because it wasn't hopping. (There were a couple of training nets then that the channels differed by .1 Mhz I think it was.)
Also, Airscan, you left out a line in the W-122 section
