At 1105 Banker 30 working ZDC Guard Dog (135.525)

Thanks, there is a LiveATC feed covering 135.525 where you can hear the controller, unfortunately there are also 2 other busy ZDC frequencies on there and a lot gets blocked.

According to my files 01-1935 is their newest EC-130J and for some reason they have been working her hard the last couple of weeks.

Thanks Ron, they do come up to Portland often for approaches. Maybe just putting some hours in getting their certifications? Maybe they just want to fly by the lighthouses! LOL!

The way they seem to move tankers all over the place I guess it doesn't really surprise me either. Listening to the BONDI flight on ZNY 133.500, doing the usual AR777 stuff, and the pilot mentioned something about getting used to these "weird callsigns".
Maybe McGuire has adopted the Navy system of callsign assignments.. weird.
1210 local see a RCH 283 C-17 00-0176 Tn ANG coming South from Norway enroute Germany it seems.
11220 RCH 829 C-17 07-7188 from Charleston to Dyess... Maybe not holding at FL340 so maybe farther WB.
Saw TURTLE 8 C-17 again working Carib from Charleston.. That TURTLE 8 is consistent weekend callsign to the Carib :)

And another new one, 86-0028, using what sounded like CIVIT 04, on AR777 with BONDI 66-75.

I notice the same thing going on at McConnell and Travis.

McConnell = PROTO, CUTE, HASH ,HAZY, CUPID, DUSKY, BUNDY, GORE ,BENDY, BOMAR, PAMPA, HENCE, POMPA, MALT
Travis = FUSES, AMPER
