Thanks Ron, they do come up to Portland often for approaches. Maybe just putting some hours in getting their certifications? Maybe they just want to fly by the lighthouses! LOL!Ed
According to my files 01-1935 is their newest EC-130J and for some reason they have been working her hard the last couple of weeks.
It is their main mission bird and is preparing to go back over to Doha (OTBH) in the coming weeks...Ed

That is all correct except you're missing 96-8154In my files for the 193rd I have:
96-8153
97-1931
98-1832
99-1933
00-1934
01-1935
Is that what you have?

1932, 1934, and 1935 are the mission bird that conduct all of the over seas training. The other four are identified as EC-130"SJ" with the capabilities of their tactical maneuvers which is why they practice a lot of over head breaks/self sustained approaches/over head initials.OK Thanks for the confirmation.
Maybe McGuire has adopted the Navy system of callsign assignments.. weird. The way they seem to move tankers all over the place I guess it doesn't really surprise me either. Listening to the BONDI flight on ZNY 133.500, doing the usual AR777 stuff, and the pilot mentioned something about getting used to these "weird callsigns".

And another new one, 86-0028, using what sounded like CIVIT 04, on AR777 with BONDI 66-75.
