SAM762 GLF5 97-0401 inbound Andrews it seems from MacDill aka Centcom.
Been a lot of SAM flights in and out of there the last few weeks.
These are the folks who actually plan and carry out the logistics of overseas strikes like the other day.
Was at airshow at MacDill some years back and as you entered flightline parking area there is this
huge facility off to one side behind MacDill with own fencing security etc.. That is Centcom.. you didn't dare drive over there :)

NOBLE-21 says will rtb Savannah on ZDC 307.250 in 5 minutes.. Guess CAP is over at 1800 local.
Easy CAP duty as very few small aircraft up today.. Need the sunny Sundays to get stray Cessnas :)
Also keep 121.500 in rotation as that what CAP fighters use to chase down small planes on the radio.
1800 local NOBLE-21 says on Huntress 260.900 nice working with you and see you tomorrow.
1803 NOBLEs push Aux-15 and up on ZDC 285.450 and A/A 328.500

I've not been able to nail down and VHF/UHF freqs they use for A-A. One would think they would have used an A-A as they were in very close formation. Any Idea why they would be going to Appleton?
No idea on Appleton. Only thing I could find on google was a Navy recruiting office. Maybe a really special recruit? Ha!

1800- Teflon tanker working ZDC Dupont (307.25) w/wx PIREP. Advises that ftrs might have problem maintaining CAP with current wx conditions.

1804- Noble 01 flt check in w/ZDC Dupont requesting FL250-270 over Reading and wants to activate Compton from FL230-250. Requests be able to switch between Reading & Compton without contacting ATC.

the response to Nobel 01 " push 247.050" replied with "247.5". Nobel 01 missed that !

I think the tanker at one point in time either yesterday or maybe it was Friday understood refueling on 247.05 but actually stated 247.500. The fighters at that time did not challenge the frequency and came up on 247.500 I think the whole time the refueling is supposed to be on 247.050 but since the error occured and no one is clafifying it - they keep using 247.500 Could be just lack of attention to the detail and when they hear .05 they are only hearing the .5

I guess as long as no one worries about it - they just move on and do their jobs.
