Freq 238.825 confirmed? If so, new freq for DC ANG F-16s. I have 238.825 as a 71st FS freq. The 71st is working out in W386 this morning.
I just replayed the recording. Yes Wild 1 and 2 were on that freq. I guess it doesn't necessarily mean it is "their freq". IDK

Lot of social media blather on Taiwan but I think they will do a quickie 2 hour visit, photo op and then scram.
Does anyone want a war/battle over a politicians visit? Prob why Potus delayed vacation till this trip into Taiwan is over.
Assume delegation heading West out from Andrews soon.

Pretty good crosswind for a Travis C-5M landing at Oshkosh today.

Comms on 293.3, female pilot & male pilot, no calls noted, sounds like SAR drill. Female says lookong for survivor is first priority. Could be related to Philly drill @1021L.

Both USCG and US Army had aviation assets at the Philly exercise. I never caught any air-air or air-ground traffic with the helos. USCG was up in NE Philly on Wednesday doing maneuvers at the Philly Fire Academy. US Army Blackhawks were flying routes up and down the Delaware River, mainly, on both days. They would pick up "patients" (dummies) in the NE part of the city and fly them down to the mass decon exercises taking place down at the south end in the old Navy yard. On Thursday, Army Blackhawks were used to fly in Army tech rescue personnel to the collapse exercise being done at NRG station at Broad and Pattison. Two helos brought in two different crews. A third helo was then used to load a "patient". That helo then airlifted to Penn Presbyterian which, apparently, is the only hospital helipad in the city that can support a Blackhawk. The helo used for the medevac exercise had a ground crew from the Gap out to communicate with it. No close call hit was collected, much to my disappointment. The radio they were using was in a pack and broke down into three brick size pieces plus the hug antenna when they took it apart to put it away. I'm assuming it was working on lowband VHF.
