I had a visual on what I though was the VC-25 departing ADW this morning about 11:52 (i.e. an hour before POTUS left the WH). It might have been the E4 but the ADSB track said it was the VC-25. Headed West and I lost track of it. Not sure where it was going. He took a C-32 today I think.

The VC-25 was out flying today as VENUS 01. The first part of the flight that you saw looks to me like a maintenance test flight up to altitude, sometimes you need to test things like pressurization and whether the Auxiliary Power Unit will still start when it is cold-soaked.

Later, VENUS 01 did some holding off the Nottingham VOR and several touch and goes in the landing pattern at Andrews.

How about RACK 21. That's what it sounded like when they passed thru Detroit on their way to Wisconsin. There's a large force exercise in WI called Northern Lightning going on.

Could've been Rack. Figured they were on their way up to WI. Rack is a known 94th FS (Langley) callsign.

Thanks

Newbie here. Which antenna/receiver combination is giving you W386 reception? RSPDX and discone here in Frederick is VERY quiet.
