1505 "SCREWTOP with unknown on 274.175 in the Clear". Maybe front end of what I heard earlier.1451 local Odd call on 349.750 CFD from/for? Command Chatroom on freq. New one for me.
He got someone, maybe ground station as couldn't hear other party and says will try again in 5 minutes or so if still in range.
Looking at the load sheet at acars.adsbexchange.com it appears that SAM 892 returned with 20 crew and 15 pax including a couple in the state room.
The White Elefant [sic] was loaded in the aft cargo hold. However, the Grey Ghost was not onboard today. Anybody know what these are?
Bill,
Did you ever figure out what these were? I noted the same today in the AF2 weight & balance summary ACARS but google isn't coming up with anything that seems correct.

Have heard VAW-120 using 349.750 before. Last had SCREWTOP Base on 361.050 in 2018 but that could be outdated. Nothing on 274.175; probably exercise tactical it would seem.1505 "SCREWTOP with unknown on 274.175 in the Clear". Maybe front end of what I heard earlier.
Now some short digital data on same freq. TwoNavy C-2 types and E-2D GRYHAWK-60 working Wallops touch and go's now.
Must be a bit of low level tropo skip up my way. 349.750 could be his base ops at Norfolk.
I have them on 244.500. Looks like they just dropped with a "seeyaaa!"
From today's AF2 loadsheet:
I have them on 244.500. Looks like they just dropped with a "seeyaaa!"
Just before the "seeyaaa!" SKULL 12 mentioned they are finished the live bombing runs, the last one reported as a dud, but would be staying in the area for another hour.
Where do you find the load sheets on that site?

ThanksGo to Ben Orchard's satcom archive https://acars.adsbexchange.com, search for the plane used as AF2, today it was 99-0003. Sometimes you get the loadsheet and the landing data depending on what connectivity (satcom, VHF data, or HFDL) is used.
Ben doesn't want me to hotlink to the satcom message site search pages since his site drops some sort of session ID into the URL. The three Site Search pages are identical in function. Don't forget to push the SEARCH button after you enter what you are trying to find (I have a friend who did that).
You can search for strings like SAMD or POLICE and often get some interesting reading.
