"Rockwell Collins, Inc., Collins Aerospace-Mission Aerospace, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $176,979,374 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS) – Scope Command Next Generation. This contract supports a ground radio equipment/network infrastructure and associated antenna subsystems in support of strategic military command and control communications. Work will be performed at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland; Royal Air Force Croughton, England; Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory; Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; Barrigada and Finegayan, Guam;, Lualualei and Wahiawa, Hawaii; Lajes, Portugal; Offutt AFB, Nebraska; Isabella and Salinas, Puerto Rico; Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy; and Yokota Air Base, Japan, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2028. This award is the result of a sole source acquisition. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8102-22-D-0004)."

See this morning a Kiwi NZ B752 inbound Seattle area.I think the Kiwis first P-8A is ready.
Maybe some Kiwi Brass aboard and delivery crew.
I'm sure Kiwi crews have been working out of Jacksonville for a long time so ready to go.
Early arrival on West Coast time.

Earlier in the week, Fox news had a report from the Pentagon on how easy it is for China to take out our communication sats and losing that comm capability.

0905- Couple of 121st FS D ANG F-16s off ADW (348.725) heading somewhere. A2A is 238.175. They are Wild 11 flt and look to be heading out to W107/108. Worked ZDC Baltimore (360.7)>ZDC Ship Bottom (307.275) on way out there.

0920- Marlins (T-38s 7th/71st FS) out in W386 (255.65/350.05/358.85) w/Kevlar flt (4 X F-22s 94th FS) & Chubb flt (F-22s 94th FS)

0955- Wild 11 flt chatting about location of a tanker. Might be working w/Steam 42 (KC-46 # 16-46021) out in the area of W107/108.

0958- DeeCee 21 (KC-135R # 61-0307 756th ARS) w/Liberator CP (351.2) w/departure msg.

1010- Couple of MD ANG A-10Cs working Harrisburg A/D (281.525) on way to Kiowa MOA. A2A is 293.3.

1012- Some NJ ANG F-16s working 294.725. Maybe going out to work w/Steam 42 as well.

I have the A10's now on 271.4 over Kiowa MOA.

1045- Looks like DeeCee 21 ended up in the W107/108 area as well. There's also a Maine 85 (KC-135R # 62-3513 ME ANG) out of Bangor working in the same general area.

1105- Team 20 flt (KC-10 # 79-1711 & # 84-0186) are heading out to the same general area, maybe AR777. Looks like tanker day today.
